Description: This is another ongoing project where the client’s brief was to carry out space planning for an existing first floor office in a healthcare facility. A number of staff had recently moved into the large open plan office space and it had become overcrowded and untidy. The brief was to reduce the amount of permanent desks and replace them with hot desks, with a meeting room and a breakout area for staff to sit and take their breaks. This will be a challenging project due to the limitations of space and finance as well as persuading the staff to relinquish their desks and share hot desking facilities.
